Srinagar, Apr 22 (KNO): The incessant rainfall has caused waterlogging in Green Colony Shoor in Ellahi bagh of Srinagar, thus simultaneously leaving the local populace to lurch at large. Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Zahoor Ahmad, a local resident said that the authorities have failed to repair the drainage system in the area. “The non-maintenance of the drainage system has left the local populace here to lurch at large,” he said, adding that the drainage water after incessant rainfall has inundated the whole area, forcing the residents to remain confined to the four walls of their homes. They appealed to the concerned authorities to look into the matter and ensure that the drainage system in their locality is repaired at an earliest so that they could heave a sigh of relief. Meanwhile, JEE concerned, Haneef Ahmad said that the problems being faced by the locality dwellers will be resolved soon—(KNO)
